An Afro-Indigenous (Full Spectrum) Doula + Wedding Officiant Practice by Athena Gabriella Guice

A Network Built on Accountability, Not Algorithms

Joining here is an organizing act. Listing your practice in this directory signals alignment with family & reproductive justice and our values and community agreements align with the liberatory framework you embody or wish to — not just a referral slot. We hold each other accountable.

Joining Here Is an Organizing Act

This isn't a search engine. It's a vetted network of practitioners and organizations who've chosen to be accountable to the same mission — across every pillar we serve: birth, postpartum, ceremony, family planning, training, and advocacy.

The Collective is for individual practitioners and birth workers.
The Coalition is for organizations and institutions building alongside us.

Both are vetted. Both are accountable. Both exist because no single practice — including ours — can hold this work alone.

The Collective (For Advocates & Practitioners)

A directory of doulas, midwives, wedding officiants, lactation consultants, attorneys, clinicians, and birth workers across every pillar of full spectrum care — vetted for alignment, not just availability.

What joining means for someone who sees this work as justice work, not just a service offered:

  • Your practice is reviewed for alignment with our mission before listing

  • You're part of a network that refers within itself first — community before competition

  • You're accountable to the same standard of care and integrity we hold ourselves to

The Coalition (For Organizations & Institutions)

A coalition of organizers, advocacy organizations, clinics, nonprofits, and institutions building perinatal equity and family justice infrastructure alongside us — not just funding it or studying it.

What joining means if you're working toward equitable maternal health outcomes :

  • Your organization is reviewed for alignment before being listed

  • You're part of shared advocacy efforts, including our Legislative Roundtables

  • You're accountable to the communities this work serves — not just your own mission

What Vetting Means (Why we won't list everyone)

This directory isn't open to anyone willing to pay a listing fee or fill out a form. Every practitioner and organization is reviewed before being added — for alignment with reproductive justice, trauma-informed practice, and community accountability. This protects the families who trust this directory, and it protects the integrity of what we're building together. If you're listed here, it means something.

How to Join

  1. Submit your request: tell us who you are, what you do, & how your work aligns with us.

  2. We review together: every request is considered for alignment, not just credentials.

  3. You're welcomed: if approved, you're listed & part of a living network of mutual accountability.

We are not building a marketplace. We are building a movement.
