You've heard of a prenup.
This is a Pre(natal)-Up™
A Preventative Family Planning & Reproductive Wellness Tool
A prenup protects assets before marriage. This protects people before parenthood — preparing families with intention, before crisis arrives.
Where a prenuptial agreement protects assets before marriage, the Pre(Natal)-Up™ protects (unmarried and married) coparents before parenthood — preparing families with the same intentionality, before crisis arrives instead of after.
I created the Pre(Natal)-Up™ because I kept watching families enter pregnancy and parenting with no shared language for the conditions actually shaping their lives — the financial strain, the caregiving imbalance, the unspoken expectations, the systems never built with them in mind. We plan weddings in more detail than we plan families. I wanted something different: a tool rooted in reproductive justice, not wellness industry assumptions — one that treats family planning as collective, political, and deeply personal work, not a checklist.
The Pre(Natal)-Up™ teaches the social, emotional, financial, relational, and structural conditions that shape reproductive health, giving individuals, couples, families, doulas, and providers a shared framework before things get hard. Rather than focusing only on pregnancy outcomes, it opens proactive conversations around:
Family planning
Communication
Parenting expectations
Caregiving responsibilities
Reproductive goals
Emotional wellness
Support systems
Conflict resolution
Long-term family stability
It can be completed independently as a self-guided reflection tool, or alongside Full Spectrum Doula Athena for guided family planning support, reproductive wellness consultations, advocacy-informed care planning, and community-centered mentorship. Healthy families require preparation, communication, autonomy, and collective support. The Pre(Natal)-Up™ helps build that foundation — rooted in care, accountability, and intentional decision-making.
Every family plans differently — so the Pre(natal)-Up™ does too. Choose the version that reflects how you live, love, and build family:
Standard — for any individual, couple, or family
Christian Courtship & Orthodox Christian Courting — rooted in faith-centered courtship practices
Indigenous Matrilineal — honoring matrilineal lineage, kinship, and tradition
Queer & Nontraditional Family — built for families outside the conventional mold
