Frequently asked questions
Do all signers need to be present?
Yes. Every signer named on the document must be present with valid ID at the time of notarization.
Can you notarize a document if I don't understand what I'm signing?
No. A notary can only confirm identity and witness a signature — we cannot explain legal documents or provide legal advice. If you have questions about a document's content, consult an attorney first.
How do I book an appointment?
Reach out through the contact form or book a consultation. We'll confirm location, timing, and total cost before we arrive. Your consultation fee will allow me to call and confirm the details of appointment, then 50% of your consultation fee is considered a deposit for your appointment. (Due prior to arrival).
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
A valid, government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID) and the unsigned document(s) needing notarization. Do not sign beforehand — documents must be signed in the notary's presence.
Do I still pay a travel fee if I'm already in South Florida?
Yes. The travel fee applies anytime we come to your location, regardless of distance within the Tri-County area. It covers travel time, not just mileage.
Can you notarize documents for someone who can't leave their home or hospital bed?
Yes — this is exactly what mobile notary service is for. We regularly travel to hospitals, birth centers, homes, and care facilities.
