Certification is a beginning, not a finish line. For doulas who've trained with us — or who simply want continued guidance — we offer one-on-one mentorship and development support at $150/hour, covering a range of needs: case consultation, business development, advocacy skill-building, navigating difficult births, or simply having someone in your corner who's done the work.

This isn't a separate program — it's a standing relationship available whenever you need it.

Doula Development & Mentorship

Ongoing support, after the training ends

How It Works: Each session is 90 minutes, $200. Book one session focused on a single step, or work through all three as you build your practice. Available virtually, so you can join from anywhere.

We train the next generation, on purpose.

Knowledge does not stay in one person's hands — we teach what we know so the work continues beyond any one of us.

Doula Development & Mentorship
From certified to confident — three sessions to building a sustainable practice.

Certification gives you the training. Mentorship is where you build the practice. Each session is 90 minutes, $200, and focused on exactly where you need support most — choose your topics within each step, or work through all three.

Step 1 — Ground Your Practice: Case consultation & support

Every birth teaches you something — and every doula needs someone to process it with. This session works through real client situations, ethical questions, and the moments that don't show up in a training manual.

Choose your focus areas:

  • Processing a difficult or traumatic birth

  • Navigating an ethical dilemma with a client

  • Scope of practice and when to refer out

  • Building your own self-care and burnout prevention plan

  • Debriefing a specific case or client relationship

Step 2 — Build Your Business: Business development

This session starts by identifying what makes your full spectrum practice unique — the area of care you're most passionate about, and how to focus there to build real clientele, rather than trying to be everything to everyone.

Choose your focus areas:

  • Finding and defining your niche within full spectrum care

  • Pricing your services and packages

  • Client intake systems and contracts

  • Marketing and building a client base

  • Setting up sustainable business operations

Step 3 — Find Your Voice: Advocacy & Community leadership

The most powerful doulas are not just present at births — they're present in the rooms where policy and systems get decided. This session builds your advocacy skills and leadership presence beyond the birthing room.

Choose your focus areas:

  • Legislative literacy — how policy actually gets made

  • Speaking up for clients within clinical/medical systems

  • Getting involved in coalition or advocacy work

  • Public speaking and representing your practice publicly

  • Building community partnerships and referral networks

We train the next generation, on purpose. This is what it looks like after training ends — we don't disappear once your certificate is in hand.
