Wedding Officiant Services Policy
Effective Date: June 19th, 2026.
Thank you for choosing Birthers of Civilization to be part of your special day. We are honored to help celebrate this important milestone.
Booking & Deposits
A signed service agreement and any required deposit must be received to reserve a ceremony date and time.
Dates are not guaranteed until confirmation is provided by Birthers of Civilization.
Marriage License Requirements
Couples are responsible for:
Obtaining a valid marriage license
Understanding applicable state and local requirements
Providing the marriage license at the agreed-upon time
Securing any required witnesses
Failure to provide a valid marriage license may result in a ceremonial-only service.
Ceremony Services
Officiant services may include:
Ceremony planning consultation
Personalized or standard ceremony script
Officiating the wedding ceremony
Completion of officiant portions of the marriage license as required by law
Additional meetings, rehearsals, travel, or custom services may incur additional fees.
Travel & Rehearsals
Travel outside the standard service area and participation in wedding rehearsals may require advance scheduling and additional fees.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Deposits are non-refundable and reserve a specific date and time.
Requests to reschedule are subject to availability.
If Birthers of Civilization must cancel due to emergency, illness, or unforeseen circumstances, reasonable efforts will be made to assist in locating an available replacement officiant, though this cannot be guaranteed. 1-2 backup officiants are put on standby for the big day with all weddings for this reason.
Photography & Media
Photographs, testimonials, or ceremony-related content will only be used with the couple's express permission in accordance with our Media Consent Policy. We love archiving around here, so please send us any photos you have of our officiant or team!

Wedding Officiant Services Disclaimer
Birthers of Civilization provides wedding officiant services to support couples in creating meaningful, personalized, and legally compliant marriage ceremonies.
Our role is limited to officiating the ceremony and completing any required officiant responsibilities under applicable law. We do not provide legal representation, legal advice, tax advice, immigration advice, counseling services, or guarantees regarding the legal validity of a marriage beyond our responsibilities as an officiant.
Couples are solely responsible for obtaining a valid marriage license, meeting all legal requirements for marriage in their jurisdiction, providing accurate information, and ensuring that required witnesses are present when applicable.
Ceremony planning discussions, templates, scripts, and resources provided by Birthers of Civilization are for educational and ceremonial purposes only.
By booking officiant services, clients acknowledge that Birthers of Civilization is not responsible for delays, errors, or issues resulting from inaccurate information provided by the couple, failure to obtain a valid marriage license, or failure to comply with applicable marriage laws.
